The next EMDWID Board of Directors will be held in January at the Alpine Fire Station #2 in Nutrioso AZ beginning at 11:00 am. The exact date will be determined and posted in December.
The Escudilla Mountain DWID is holding an open enrollment to add twenty properties to the District. The property must be located within the LPDP1, LPDP2, EME1 or EME2 subdivisions. The open enrollment period ends January 1, 2025 or until the twenty spots have been filled, whichever comes first.
The cost to annex into the EMDWID will be the $1000.00 Standpipe Infrastructure / Access Fee. The minimum down payment towards the $1000.00 is $710.00. The balance may be paid monthly or quarterly. The new district members will also be responsible for the legal costs involved. If your property abuts up to the existing EMDWID border the legal fee will be $230. If one property owner has two contiguous properties being annexed there will only be one fee of $230. As in the original establishment, if a property owner has multiple properties, all properties that are located in the four subdivisions must be added. (The downpayment of $626.00 that was calculated at the October 19, 2024 Board Meeting was based on a down payment being received November 1, 2024. Monthly payments began September 1, 2023. Seventeen monthly payments of $42.00 will be due by the January, 2025 meeting.)
