The EMDWID plans on purchasing Lot 53 of Escudilla Mountain Estates Unit 2, (the south corner where CR 2019 turns into CR 2018) and installing a fill station for the members of EMDWID. Included in this project will be a driveway to the fill station, a storage tank, and pump house.
The improvements will be paid for through a Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona (WIFA) loan. The members of the EMDWID will pay the mortgage through a flat tax assessmemt of $250.00. The EMDWID is in the process of purchasing Lot 53 and Zach Barlow from Ironside Engineering, LLC is preparing the bid documents. The estimated completion date for the Standpipe Project is February 2027.
