The EMDWID plans on purchasing Lot 53 of Escudilla Mountain Estates Unit 2, (the south corner where CR 2019 turns into CR 2018) for $180,000 and installing a fill station for the members of EMDWID for $273,297. Included in this project will be a driveway to the fill station, a storage tank, and pump house.
The improvements will be paid for through a Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona (WIFA) loan. The members of the EMDWID will pay the mortgage through a flat tax assessmemt of $250.00. Once the loan has been approved and funded the EMDWID will purchase the land and begin construction. The estimated completion date will be February 2027.
